Returns, Refunds and Exchanges Policy

Our standard Refund and Exchange return policy lasts 14 days from the date of delivery. If more than 14 days have gone by since your order was collected or delivered, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Consumable goods, such as toners, cartridges, disks, paper, and other consumable items cannot be returned. Please refer to the product page for more info on non-refundable items.

Submit a return request

Click the profile icon in the store’s navigation, or go to the refund policy or a returns page, and then request a return.

  1. Log in to your account:
  • In the Email field, enter your email address, and then click Continue.
  • In your email account, open the email sent from our store and copy the six-digit verification code included in the email.
  • Go back to the online store, and then enter a six-digit verification code.
  1. Click the order that you want to submit the return for.
  2. If your order has more than one item, then select the items that you want to return.
  3. Select a return reason and add a note for the store.
  4. Click Request return.

If your return request is approved and requires shipping, then you receive an email with shipping instructions and a return shipping label. After the product is returned, you receive a refund.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer or authorised distributor unless so instructed by Computeq SA.

Please note that if your item has been opened is not in its original packaging, has content missing or damaged; we reserve the right to charge a handling fee up to 15% (determined upon inspection of product and at our discretion) or deny a refund on any specific product (in extreme cases where the product or packaging has been severely damaged up to the point where it is no longer in a resalable condition or several parts included within the packaging are missing).

Damaged, missing or incorrect goods

From the date that your order has been collected or delivered, you shall inform Computeq SA, within 14 days of such date of any damage, missing parts or incorrect items received. We will not be able to assist with any claims for damage, missing parts or incorrect goods after 14 days has passed.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 3 -10 working days.

Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will not be included in your refund.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially cleared.

Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is cleared.

Sale items (if applicable)

Items that have been purchased on sale and deemed fit to be refunded, will be refunded on the sale price of the said item and not the current market price.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@computeq.co.za

Delivery

Defective items will be collected from you, free of charge if the item is found to be faulty within 6 months of the purchase date.

Return shipping of repaired / replaced items shall be done free of charge within 6 months of the purchase date. Should your item be tested and found not to be faulty or found to be void of warranty due to the exclusions set by the manufacturer, the cost of the return shipping shall be for the account of you, the customer.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item should you need to return it after 6 months from the date of purchase. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.

To return your product, you should courier your product to the address as stipulated in the email received by our support team.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over R1000, you should consider using a track-able courier service and adding courier insurance to the service .We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item and cannot be held liable for lost parcels from third party courier services.
